Managing Partner – Lena Tibell

Lena TibellLena has 28+ years experience of International Sales & Marketing and Business Management in Biotech & Medical Device industry plus 7 years in Medical research and Drug analysis. Her experience includes Executive Management, Sales & Marketing Management, development of Business Strategies, performing Market Analysis, implementing Product Development projects and Market introductions, conducting Clinical Evaluations and compiling Technical Documentation, as well as conducting Focus Groups and organizing International Exhibitions and Meetings.

Lena Tibell also serves as Program Advisor for the Swedish-American Life Science Summit (SALSS), an annual event that brings together some of the world’s most renowned life science executives, scientists and investors with the objective of building strategic and financial networks. Lena’s work with SALSS keeps her continuously updated on developments within life science business and further expands her vast network of international contacts. During the last 28+ years Lena has been working with international biotech and medical device suppliers as a consultant, business manager and marketing manager, which has gained her in-depth knowledge of the businesses and markets in these areas. This experience is gained from multinational companies as well as startups.

Lena is a very hands-on consultant with the objective to impact practical results and operations. Her strengths include coordination and practical implementation of efficient operations for smaller companies with limited resources, paired with coaching of management and a broad network of highly competent individuals in different fields.

Before becoming a consultant in 2002, Lena spent 13 years with Pharmacia Biotech (now GE Healthcare) and Gibeck-Hudson RCI (now Teleflex) in different executive management positions such as Business Manager, Marketing Manager and Sales Manager.

Lena has a B.Sc. in Chemistry from the University of Linköping, Sweden.
